Our journey began over 55 years ago with the founding of our parent company, “Chopra’s,” a pioneering force in audio and lighting solutions. Rooted in three generations of profound expertise and innovation, each era has infused new vision, from foundational industry breakthroughs to today’s cutting-edge experiential and immersive technologies influenced by global inspiration. Today, Chopra Designs stands at the vanguard of immersive experiential design, embodying the expertise honed since 1969 and championed by founder Abhimanyu Chopra, whose experience includes collaborations with global leaders like Disney and Cirque du Soleil.
Abhimanyu Chopra
Founder of Chopra’s Designs (C.D.), is a digital artist, audio-acoustic specialist, and multimedia strategist shaping immersive experiences for the 21st century. Building on over 55 years of expertise in audio and lighting through his family’s legacy brand, Chopra’s, he established C.D. in 2019 to create technologically-driven environments that transport audiences into new realms. An electrical and electronics engineer from Sheffield University, UK (2015), Abhimanyu has worked with global entertainment leaders like Cirque du Soleil, Disney, and Omnia Nightclubs in the USA, before pursuing advanced studies in acoustics at Salford University, UK, and specialised training in lighting, projection, and stage automation at Stagecraft Institute, Las Vegas. Most recently, he completed an intensive theatre design program at HAA, Bangkok. Based between Jaipur and Dubai, he collaborates with clients worldwide to craft invigorating, future-forward live experiences.
