Suggestive of its name, "Written in the Stars" is a sparkling initiative between Chopra's Designs and event designers, A Cube Project at the Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur for a wedding orchestrating the couple's love for all things celestial, using LED wall design.

Based on the vision to create and deliver immersive experiences, the projection mapping weaves nature's hidden celestial symphony into a spectacular adventure that comes to life in a spectacle that defies the ordinary. Portraying a journey through multiple galaxies on varied surfaces, the guests are treated to a breathtaking odyssey that celebrates the cosmos by constantly changing sizes on the canvas within the fort facility. As a precursor to the enchanting immersive experience created inside the fort, the entrance facade is a testament to Chopra's Designs as visual artists with the facade projection of Vincent Van Gogh's 'Starry Nights' on the LED side wall panels. As one walks in, the pathway flanks into an interactive tunnel with touch sensors, while projection mapping is utilised to light up multiple spots as the guests walk down its path. Various surfaces are used to depict the universe, from the converging tents to the suspended disco ball and the carpeted floor, all aligning into a canvas of hosting the starry sky.

The immersive experience is tailored to highlight the natural beauty with video and light projections, facade lighting, LED wall designs, and special effects. From the artistic prowess of multimedia design by Chopra's Designs and ACube Project in design conceptualisation, they collectively create and deliver a multitude of immersive experiences as well as boost innovative initiatives within extended reality.

Often, through artistic collaborations with visionary architects, some aesthetically and conceptually forward spectacles are created. Such is a collaboration between visual artists Chopra's Designs and architects AKFD Studio, where the latter's furniture factory in New Delhi, India, is transformed into an engaging audiovisual experience to explore the realm of boundless possibilities when functionality, art and entertainment converge.

The industrial charm of the furniture factory provides a contrast to the whimsical elements of the immersive design. By harnessing cutting-edge lighting techniques, projection mapping, and immersive acoustics, this otherwise unassuming space is infused with a newfound dynamism. Within the expanse of the factory's open layout, visitors are invited into the celebration of this creativity, where an alternate reality to the space is unveiled. Architectural lighting is elevated to innovative lighting design, employing an array of LED laser beams choreographed to harmonise with the enveloping audio. This mix-media presents the space with depth and intrigue, affirming that even the most pragmatic spaces can be reimagined as galleries of innovation. The acoustics are not just an auditory experience; they are meticulously designed through audio engineering to resonate with the overarching concept, composing a symphony that can not only be heard but also emotionally experienced. This results in a treasury of immersive moments within this captivating art installation.

The warehouse setting is reconstructed as a canvas for artistic expression through thorough conceptualisation and new-age technology implementation. As the factory's dutiful original purpose evolves into a field of imagination, this journey from utility to artistry emphasises the potential of technology as a transformative force and a powerful catalyst, elevating the potential of every space.

Among these LEDs, one is broken into several hexagons like an art installation, gracefully moving on hydraulics in sync with the music's pulsating beat, while another forms a curtain of lights at the back of the VIP enclave. The columns are enveloped by captivating visuals brought to life through light projections, ensuring the incorporation of multimedia media in spatial elements of the structure as well. A continuous stretch of immersive visuals is materialised as the stage backdrop design via an LED media wall extending from the rear of the DJ booth to the ceiling. The spatial volume also showcases and advances the Digital Multiplex (DMX) lighting services, where the VIP section is adorned by a laser grid. Synchronised video content, lighting choreography, and soundscapes converge to form a harmonious palette of changing hues.

Well indicative of the term, "Celestial" comes forth as a creative collaboration between Chopra’s Designs and design curators The Envelop, pictured within the confines of Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur to enhance key moments at a wedding event. Fed with a brief to amplify all things Celestial, Chopra’s Designs’ expertise as lighting designers captivates those in attendance in a journey through the world of universes on a massive illusionistic scale, both physically and virtually.

This spectacle forms an intricate ecosystem of lighting and projection installations, accompanied by an ambient lighting design that vividly portrays a multitude of themes present in the Universe. Segregated into various zones of Shuttle, Sun, Moon, Stars, and the Galaxy, visitors are led through distinct immersive spaces, each offering unique moods and performances. Each zone compresses people through an array of interconnecting areas to release them into a different dimension with a harmonious blend of innovation, aesthetics, and effective event planning. Seamless transitions between these spaces are designed for an elevated experience using LED design data walls, and the synchronised dance of Digital Multiplex (DMX) lighting adds to the splendour, creating a multi-dimensional experience.

The centrepiece, "The Star Universe," emerges as a standalone experience. The starry Universe features dotted stars, disco ball pyramids that mimic star surfaces, and a laser sky that forms a celestial canopy, all availing a spectrum of Chopra’s Designs’ services. A giant suspended star installation curated on the kinetic motors took the theme to new heights. Additionally, the Sun is curated using a massive sandpit with light projections all around and fire artists’ loud, bold performances slathered in red. The sun installation replicates the one we see in the skies; the centre here shines constantly, emitting intense light, making it impossible to gaze at the creative execution. Lighting and audio design play a pivotal role in such demonstrations. It involves understanding lighting, 3D projections, interactive elements, foley sounds, ambience, and background music to shape the space's atmosphere and impact.

As technology consultants and installation artists, Chopra’s Designs spearheads this creative spectacle and aims to set new benchmarks in lighting, audio and experiential design. Orchestrating the concept of space and infusing creativity into every aspect, "Celestial" transforms the fort's confines into a cosmic spectacle.
